Won the Major League Player of the Year award in 1941, 1942, 1947, 1949 and in 1957
Won the American League Batting Title in 1941, 1947, 1948, 1957 and in 1958 
Led the American League in batting average six times during his career
Led the American League in on-base percentage 12 times during his career
Led the American League in slugging percentage nine times during his career
Led the American League in runs scored six times during his career
Led the American League in total bases six times during his career
Led the American League in doubles twice during his career
Led the American League in home runs four times during his career
Led the American League in runs batted in four times during his career
Led the American League in extra base hits five times during his career
Won the American League Pennant in 1946
